Reverting to IE8 from IE9

I have a question here that I hope someone can answer.

I recently upgraded to IE9 on a Windows 7 32 bit OS. The problem is the main website that I will be working with for my company does not yet support IE9 (next release will) and thus a lot of the clients I will be working with will also not be using IE9 so I will have to have IE8 put back on my computer.

The trouble is the Microsoft site doesn't offer a download link for IE8 Win 7 32bit. They only offer Vista, XP and Server 2000.

Can anyone help me find a link or a way to get IE8 back on here?

More about reverting
  1. Have you tried compatibility mode?

Anyway, you just need to uninstall IE9 to revert to 8.
  2. I don't see an option for compatability mode since downloading and install it essentially makes it the only option for anything IE related.

How do you go about uninstalling IE9? I went the control panel route to programs and "turn Windows features on and off" and did it from there. However now there's no IE at all.
  3. Thanks for the help. I figured it out right after my last reply. You treat IE9 as an update to the IE hierarchy and remove it through that screen.
