Yes but no matter how often it's said it's a waste to SLI anything but a top end card, people still SLI 2 midrange cards :?

I would say a quality 600w psu should handle that setup just fine

1 8800GTX does not Beat 2x8800GTS SLI.

TH has dual vga charts that shows SLI'd 8800gts's beating 1x GTX by 208fps total for all the exact same benchmarks.

And also the biggest con w/ the GTS is less Memory, but I wont be playing anything over 1600x1200 so it wont affect me much.

The 320MB 8800GTS pair only outperformed a single 8800GTX by 5FPS.

maybe for one benchmark,

For my sweet spot being around 1280x1024 and its widescreen equivalent the FPS differences are much more pronounced. getting anywhere between 10-25 fps better on some benchmarks and averaging around 15fps better.

But back to my original question. What are your thoughts on powersupply?

The easiest way to pick a power supply is to get one that is certified for SLI by Nvidia for the card types you will be running. You can do this by going to the link that someone posted earlier in the thread. I don't know the what the 8800GTS requires on the 12v rail, but you can find that out easy enough using Google, then just head over to Newegg or something and check the specs on some psu's and go from there.
