Hello, I'm looking for an all around good disk utility program that will monitor many different aspects of my harddrives etc. I'm only looking for free software though. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them.

That is good but are there any utilities that I could possibly disk defrag and volume consolidate(move all the data into one huge block of data therefore reducing time the drive takes to access it because it does not have to swing across the empty parts) my boot drive from?

Oh yes lots of Defraggers do that, the best freeware IMO is Ultimate Defrag and My Defrag
