I am having problems overclocking my E4300 and i thought you guys might be able to help. This is my first overclock so i may be overlooking something.I go to my bios and then press ctrl+f1, then i go to MB Intelligent Tweaker. I then enable cpu host clock control, then set my cpu host frequency to 225(to start with). Once all of this is done i press f10 to save my settings, then my sceen goes blank for about 5-10 sec. and then my system restarts with default settings. If someone knows something i don't please lend me a hand,Thanks in advance.

It has a long pause because it is testing those settings and finds it to be unstable, so it resets. It's a nice feature, stops POST hang so you don't have to clear the CMOS.

Now, why is it doing that for such a small OC? I'm not sure. Try higher FSBs, there might be a hole at 225. Try lower too. Up the volts on the CPU/MCH/FSB one little step, it might help.

I figured it out,i had to increase the voltage to 1.325, set the memory multiplier to 2.00,and set the x16 slot to 110. Thanks for the response.
