Antispyware software caused c:/windows/explorer exe application not found

Cyber security virus attached itself to my computer. I downloaded spyware doctor and now the cyber security virus is gone, but now I receive the message cwindows/explorer.exe application not found and each time I try and open an application it asks which progam do I want to use.
Please advise how to fix this problem...thank you
