CPU VS. Core Temp's?

I'm running PC Wizard 2007, and it displayed this:

I'm about to build a new system and of course will probably overclock in the future, I'm also a little confused aswell so I was wondering. What the difference is between the Core Tempature and the CPU Tempature. I figured that the Core would be the actual processor but, then whats the CPU Tempature?

Please help me clear things up, I've googled this for the past 20 minutes and all of the other forums have seemed to have gotten off topic, So thanks!

Normally the core temperature would be the actual silicon core inside the CPU (or somewhere close to it) while the CPU temperature would be the outside of the package.

But simple physics dictates that the core should always be warmer than the outside of the CPU package unless you have an external CPU heater attached instead of a cooler!
