When will new prices of quads come out?
Anyone know of projected price drops of all CPU amd and intel after 22 July?

Just wondering if its better for me to wait it out for another month for quads

LOL.... i think i'll buy a core 2 quad (probably ~150$ for a Q6600) after another price drop after July 22nd, but too bad Intel's going to stop producing 1066mhz FSB C2D and C2Q sometimes after 2007.

Any idea what the expected pricing is on the Wolfdale Dual-Cores? I have seen what it is expected for the older 65NM chips; but nothing on the new ones. Or dies someone have a link?

Actually, the Q6600 will probably be closer to $250. As for the others, I work for Fry's Electronics and we've received three new entries in our system for the new processors. The e6550 is priced at $179, the e6750 is priced at $209, and the e6850 is priced at $289.
