My freshly installed XP modifies ntuser.dat.log every second. Even when the system is idle. I killed all of the processes that I could from the task manager, stopped all the services that I could, and even uninstalled the antivirus. Nothing helps. The indexing service is disabled, and so does the paging file.
I run Filemon, and it couldn't find any activity, so I have no idea which component modifies ntuser.dat every second. It bothers me so much because the system is installed on SSD, and I'm afraid that the constant writes will cause an early wear.
Farther system info: The OS was installed from a CD that was maid with nLite. nLite merged the original XP installation CD and SP3 into one installation CD. The CPU is i7 860. 4GB ram. GTX 260 video card. The only user account is Administrator.
Any ideas what can be the reason for the constant modification of this file ?
UPDATE: Just discovered that the modified file id NTUSER.DAT.LOG. There is no problem with NTUSER.DAT as suggested in the title of this post. It's only the log file that is being modified every second. Any ideas ?

UPDATE: ntuser.dat.log is updated every time that you look at the file properties. So actualy the file was no updating when the system was idle. My mistake. Now the problem is that there is some disk activity, but I can not find what it is. I've posted a new thread for the updated question.
