Overclocking new RAM

My RAM should arrive today and I want to ask should I underclock it?

I have followed the guide on how to overclock Core 2 Duo processors (The sticky in the processor forum I think) and part of the setup is to set RAM and CPU to a 1:1 ratio, I don't really understand it but that would mean when I install the new RAM then surely it would become overclocked right away (as my E6600 is overclocked about 25%).

So should I set everything to default then install the RAM, then overclock it once everything is fine, or should I install it right away and it'll be fine? Surely if I'm overclocking it anyway it won't make a difference if it's clocked up on install?

Bare in my I'm removing my old RAM so it is the new RAM alone.

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA804)

Note that the RAM is not quite compatible either, it has a slightly higher voltage then the DS3 is supposed to take though I'm told that's fine.

Thanks.
