I'm building a gaming system with the BenQ 24" FP241W LCD monitor. The processor will be a Q6600, but I'm not sure about the video card. I've read about many people who feel that for 24" and above you should go SLI, while others feel an 8800GTX would be fine. Any suggestions about this?

a single GTX will be fine for 1920x1200 (your monitors max/natural res)

look for a good deal on one of the high clocked factory OC ones would be my advice

When prices go down you can buy another video card and put it in SLI if your motherboard allows that.
It is a lot easier to manage one card rather than two.

As long as I would be able to play at my native resolution I would definitely opt for the single video card. Being that the resolution is pretty high, can I get away with a lower video card (like the 8800GTS)?
