We have 4 pc's on the home network and they stay on 24/7 well when my wife got home today she called me to say her monitor was out and her pc was off. So she rebooted the pc and it works fine but the monitor is black then she noticed in my office my pc was off and both of my monitors were black as well. After installing another monitor to her pc it was fine so now I have 3 dead monitors at the same time on 2 different pc's while the other two were un effected? Any ideas ?

It could be a whole slew of things. Before you throw out those monitors though, you may want to try them on another (known working) PC.
