I need to build a new computer. I have a new p180 case ready to go and I need to buy everything else. Obviously I would like to get the best bang for the buck. I would be willing to try and overclock one if needed to maximize perfromance. This will be general home use unit and I have a 22" widescreen monitor to use on this system. Maybe an ocassional game will be played and a movie will be watched on the unit.
I know I am asking alott but I am curious what route you guys would go??
I forgot to mention I have Windows Vista ready to load on the unit.

Thanks
Rob

Since you don't need a monitor, get an extra 1gb of RAM, and possibly change to a 8800GTS/368mb (or an 8600gts would probably be sufficient for occasional gaming). You may want to upgrade to a slightly faster CPU, but for most uses, any dual core is going to be enough.
