This is the problem I am dealing with:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321626

I have checked the BIOS and it still recognizes the hard drive, so I know that is not a problem. However, the next step suggested is to run the Recovery Console off of a Windows XP disk. The disk provided to me was an OEM disk which does not include the Recovery Console. What is my next step?

Is there a place where I can download a start up disk with Recovery Console for CD? I am on a laptop, so floppy disks are not an option.

Also, when I put in the XP disk I do have, it goes straight into the setup and runs into the following error:

Thanks in advance.
