Hi All,

I am trying add one network printer through add printer wizard,but in add printer wizard in create new port wizard Standard TCP/IP port is not availbale,only "local port" I can see.Please help me get Standard TCP/IP port option in the wizard.I am using Windows XP professional edition.

Please help me.

Are you saying that you're trying to set up a Standard TCP/IP port through the Printer Wizard, but you can't b/c it isn't a selective choice?

That's awkward. Have you tried running the "rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry" command utility instead?

Otherwise, close the Printer Wizard, and restart the Printer Spooler service. Then try again.
