Maybe this question is stupid but why Microsoft dont implement DX10 on WindowsXP?????????????????? :sol:
Download it and install like DX9.

Not sure....

But the way I see it is from a marketing perspective.

All their offerings come out for the new OS's.

e.g. You buy Win 7 and you can have.....

I hate to play the devils advocate, but it makes sense.

Could be wrong though, hope someone else has more insight.

What more money they need.
XP is probably best OS from Microsoft. Now every two years new OS. With new DX.
Vista with DX10 7 with DX11. what is next......

Support for Xp was meant to have stopped a few times over already, but with the debacle that was Vista it was extended time and time again.

What more do they need?... you tell me!

Sometimes too much isn't enough.
