I use the following at home:

Cable
10Mb down / 2Mb Up
$29.95 (Comcast - if it matters)

*Also, not sure if you know this, but Internet transfer speeds are measured in Mb and Kb (Megabit and Kilobit). This is much difference than a Megabyte, since 1MB (MegaByte) is 8Mb (Megabit). So if you're getting a "10 meg connection", don't be surprised when your download speed is only 1MB or less.
