Hmm, very tight budget here. $50 buck huh, well here is a quck way to do it. Ditch the Sound card completely. Your board comes with onboard audio so that's a savings if $40 bucks right there. Until you can afford to buy the sound card at a later date, i'd remove it for now and use the mobo's audio ports instead.
total at about $855 with rebates, you can swap that memory that you found with the one on my list, I put the next best thing because I couldn't find yours. This is my opinion is a better all-around machine (mostly because of the graphics card) And remember this is including a $100 PSU that you forgot to include on your list, you need to buy a good quality PSU or any of your PC parts could get damaged by using a bad PSU.
Also try using those headphones I added, better than generic speakers I suppose.
There isn't a 2GB set of Crucial DDR2 1066 for $74. The lowest Crucial like that is $179.
However there is some Corsair DD2 1066 at $130 after mail in rebates.
Anyway, don't get DDR2 1066 on a motherboard with just a 1 Ghz fsb because that is dumb. Get DDR2 800.
Furthermore wait until intel has there price cuts. Everything will be cheaper and performance per dollar will be like AMD's. If you do that get a P35 mobo (Gigabyte P35 DS3R) and you DDR2 1066.
Get a Seagate and not a WD, I have had a bad return experience with them.
Also, be sure to get a good PSU!!
PSUs that come with cases are generally low quality, especially when the have low wattage. I agree with the others, stick with PC6400 memory. the crucial ballistix deal for $70 is untouchable.
