Folks,

I'm ready to reinstall windows XP pro. I want to know if it is best to reinstall the OS without having all the printers, scans, etc. connected to the computer? or it doesn't matter?

You really should only have the keyboard mouse and monitor connected.

All other peripherals (scanner / printer etc) are a separate install after the operating system.

Thank you very much for your reply. When I reinstall windows I will only have the keyboard, mouse and the monitored connected.
