I would like to have the ability to have an option from which drive I want to boot my OS from during start-up. May I please get guidance on how to do this. Not PARTITION Boot.

Background:

I would like to install Vista 64 bit on Fast WD Velicraptor. Have not installed the HD yet.

I would like to keep Windows 7 32 bit that is currently on my 1TB HD.

So, when I turn on my computer, I would like the screen to boot from Vista 64 on separate drive.

In another words, I want the computer to ask me during start-up which Hard Drive or OS to boot from.

How do I go about doing this?

Thanks.

You should just have to select your second hard disk drive (instead of a partition on the primary drive), otherwise the process should work. In section #2, simply partition the second hard disk as one large partition instead of resizing the firsy hard disk (or if you already have it partitioned, then skip to Install Windows XP section.

Cheers!
