if i put a low end sound card on new mobo such as p35, is it worthed in terms of getting same or better sound quality but some improvement on system speed?

low end old card such as Soundblaster Audigy SB0160 probably only $15 on ebay. I don't want the sound quality to drop but I want the system speed to be improved.

I also understand that the memory resource will bit sucked up a bit by sound card?

And that would what... turn tour Cadallac into a Yugo? maybe you need to spend $100 for this and </////D Creative, and its bloated, unfriendly problems.
