Hi, I haven't made any research on this memory but I saw a good deal so I just bought it.

The brand is SUPER TALENT, Micron D9GKX 2GB kit DDR2 1000 (T1000UX2G5) 2x1GB
and I pay US$145 including delivery for it.

Is this memory good? and do I get good price?

Super Talent is not so famous here and as far as I know the quality brand is OCZ, Corsair, etc but never heard Super Talent. Hope they are okay....

I bought it because it's DDR2 1000 and I thought many DDR2-800 still more expensive than this....

It's hard to say really. What name is actually on the memory chips themselves???Like 3rd party video card manufacturers, there are 3rd party memory maufacturers. They purchase the chips from a name brand like samsung or infinion and put them on their own sticks of PCB.Also look for the batch number as you can google it with the mem chips name and get specs.Goodluck.

Micron GKX are not bad at all! Super Talent is just a small company now but there growing fast. What are the timings rated for? If they can do 4-4-4-12 then your lucky.

so, Is it a good buy then? Well in my country memory is actually very expensive... OCZ PC6400 2GB Kit Platinum is US$230.... but as I'm travelling overseas right now I'm trying to buy parts for my upcoming rig...

I'm looking at dinovo media desktop as well for US$ 120... and it comes with MX1000

Theres no reason why DDR2 1000 shouldn't do cas4 just bump up the voltage a little. My ram had a SPD of 5-5-5-15 but they'll do 3-3-3-10 @800MHz which they get hot though. Here rams really low, I got Crucial Ballistix PC2 8500's for $110.- for 2X1 GB kit.

Wow! That's low... PC8500 probably will cost me US$300+...

Do you use 3rd party heat sink? I heard Thermalright memory heat spreader is very good...
I don't plan to use additional heatsink as long as the memory doesn't get to warm but I'm planning to overclock this to a bit more than 1000Mhz with 4-4-4-12. Hopefully with that settings I got a very got memory for the system.

Rebadge Memory can certainly become a good deal if they are made of high quality memory chip. I don't know that particular brand but recently I bought a couple of stick from Buffalo(firestix) and they use Mircon chip and AFAIK they are easily overclockable. Anyways, best of luck with your new purchase

thats a great buy, micron d9s have an average potential of 4-4-4-12@1100@2.2-2.3

We wish!

DDR2-1100 @ 5-5-5-15.
If ur lucky ud get DDR2-1000 4-4-4-12, but only with handpicked chips.

In some review it tested and the supper talent at stock voltage is able to reach DDR2-1072 @ 5-5-5-15 and DDR2-1000 @ 4-4-4-8
It doesnt reach 1200 on the test but it doesn't fall far to OCZ PC8000 with OCZ winning a bit with its ability to give DDR2-1114 @ 4-5-4-15

Anyway it's said as the company is still small, the memory is tested one by one...
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/super_talent_ddr21000/

So I guess it's not the best memory around but it will still serve me well... Well I don't expect the best memory as I don't prepare to settle to the best but at least it has good speed then....

Okay, back to explaining to my mom that she won't need to go to the post office to send e-mail :p

Why not? It's just an additional of 72Mhz or tighter timing.... I don't see that as extreme O/C....
