I'm having a problem with Windows installer,cant install anything ..Where can I find some easy to understand stuff to fix this problem? I'm not a computer gru...I'm om Win XP PRO sp3....

What can I do if I cannot obtain the product key info from my laptop? I cannot logon without installing windows.....I'm stuck....

don't know, think you may need to speak to whoever sold the laptop to you. Also note that 'windows installer' (i.e. the subject of the thread) is very different to installing windows! Would suggest starting a new thread entitled something like 'how do I obtain product key info for installing windows' (or something similar)
