I have an IBM thinkpad and I want to upgrade the video card. Im no computer expert so I dont even know if this is possible or not. I talked to people and they say get GeForce or ATI radeon, and before I get one of those video cards, I want to make sure there is actually a version of these that I can install on a laptop, or if a PC video card is compatible with a laptop. Can anyone assist me with this issue?
It's probably impractical and too costly to do what you want to do as most graphics chipsets for laptops are built-in to the laptop's motherboard and can not swap out.

ohh ok, thankz alot! Appreciate the assistance. its an IBM thinkpad. Works on a lot of games, but 128 bit and up, no way. Guess its only built for business, not high end entertainment.
