I have a new Western Digital 500 gig SATA drive that I have wiped clean with DBAN. When I look at the drive now my laptop only see it as 54.48 gigs. I need to increase the max address on the drive with HDAT2, but I cannot get my XP laptop to boot to pure DOS. I have tried creating a DOS image cd but HDAT2 still will not run. Is there any other way to increase the address without booting to DOS?
