Why do I have to log in as administrator to remove a game on vista?

Why do I have to log in as administrator in order to remove a game from Vista? Will I have any problems getting logged in if I do this?

Hello Seinfield fan,

It is necessary to log on as Administrator to remove a game on Vista to prove you have the right to do so. If your user profile is set as an administrator, then you wouldn't be told to do so.

This keeps unauthorized users from making changes that they shouldn't.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

If u can't uninstall the game with your account, is because your account don't have the necessary permissions for that. Add your account as administrator and the problem will be solve.
