There used to be a program called RegClean 4.1 that was a Microsoft registry cleaner for Windows up to ME. I wonder if there is such a thing for WinXP

I've been having issue with my registry lately as well. I also have Windows XP and recently purchased RegCure. I think it was $29 and it seems to be a pretty good program. You could also try ccleaner I believe that one can be downloaded for free and I have also used it before.
