Icon Associations Tags: Configuration Windows Vista Last response: April 30, 2010 4:40 AM in Windows Vista Share bscore April 27, 2010 12:02:04 AM Hello. Having this problem: When I select a shortcut to a program that used to work, Vista now opens up an "Open With" window and asks the user to determine which program is to be used. If I point to the same shortcut, right click and choose "run as administrator", the icon opens properly. Is there a way to restore the defaults of all icons on the operating system? Thanks for all the consideration in troubleshooting this problem for me. It is very much appreciated. -The Muse bscore @ aol dot com More about : icon associations bscore April 30, 2010 4:40:09 AM anyone? m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
