New Build, First time

Im building my own PC but its my first time, i just want to check that all my parts are compatable and of a good standard, i will mostly use the PC for gaming but also sometimes for work.
Here is my build:

I am going to be using windows vista home premium on the system, will this work?

yes they should work, however unless the ram you picked has a killer deal on it, you should look for DDR2 800 too, you can save some cash on that. but pretty nice build

What sort of work? Can you wait until the end of July? Depending on that you might want to get a Q6600 (it will cost $266 after July 22).

I'd add a third HDD for storing or backing up the data you produce during work (programs, movies, music), whetever it is you do. If you're new to RAID read this:

Or maybe don't use RAID at all, I don't know...

Everything should work but I suggest one change, and this is just a preference.

Go with this video card, or any other ones from EVGA,
