Ok, Here goes!
I'm new here!! Awesome site!

Ok, I'm in Year 10, our school has a full on laptop program, but our wireless is really restricted.
Let's say, No email, games, bebo anything!!

I live about 0.28km away from the last point of our school (Thanks Google Earth!!) And i would like to distribute my Wireless internet over their for me, my brother and 1 of my friends.

Now, Point to Point is not available to me, the obvious reason the school wouldn't allow it haha. I can see parts of the school from my house (Huge school), but there are tree's in the road (No buildings, hills etc).

As I said, the schools huge, so, what would I be able to do?
Considering we have a laptop program, would having one person on a laptop, sharing the connection via Peer to Peer available??

Please, any suggestions!!

Alright... here goes!

I decided to go and try myself.

I used to have a very cheap Netgear wireless router in my bedroom, which came up in the closest classrooms to my house. So, I thought... A more powerful directional antenna should do the trick quite easily if mounted near my room (3 stories up).

I bought a 2.4Ghz YAGI 16dBi Antenna...
Hope this is ok lol :P
