Vista users, This is more of a help to those of you that take a long time to boot. For a week now, I have run every hardware check and software repair to fix the slow bootup. My computer used to do a hardware scan 40-50 times before the software started up. Well, with the help of this Forum, I googled up a Program called " Free Windows Registry repair" http://download.cnet.com/Free-Window-Registry-Repair/3000-2086_4-10606555.html Go to this link to download it. I ran it for the first time after 2 years of adding and deleting programs. The program found 553 errors. The program created a restore point incase after deleting the errors, it didn't work. Well, I deleted all of the errors and rebooted the computer. It booted with only 7 scans before the software started and tihe software even booted up faster. This is a must!!!

Again, here is the link to go to and download::: http://download.cnet.com/Free-Window-Registry-Repair/3000-2086_4-10606555.html

Good Luck Vista Users!!!! ComputerPlayer
