I NEED HELP.
everytime i open windows photo gallery it says "file can not be found" or whatever. it usually just let me log into it normally but now as soon as i open about 50 pictures are lost or something because of what it said. and when i try to upload pictures from my camera it says "unable to convert"
Does the photos open successfully on any other machine that you have access to? In other words, if you copy them onto a USB stick (or burn to a CD, or copy across the network...) and try to open them on a different machine, does that work?
If not, it is likely that the files are corrupted in some way.
Can you see their EXIF data? Do their sizes roughly match other JPGs (that can be opened) created by the same camera at the same resolution settings? They'll never be exactly the same, but if "normal" JPGs are somewhere say around 3MB and these files are consistently 50KB, that's an obvious truncation issue.
