Thermalright Ultra 120-Extreme

Has anybody used the Thermalright Ultra 120-Extreme on an Asus P5K Deluxe motherboard? I just received this heatsink and the mounting bracket seems like its just a little larger than it needs to be. The metal bracket that holds the heatink on the motherboard hits the surface mount capacitors on the top left and right side. It doesnt completely cover them just barely touches, but it touches none the less. I dont want these to short out or break when I fasten the heatink so I was considering grinding down the braket about 1/16in to 1/8in so they dont touch. Suggestions?

I grinded the bracket down about 1/8in on all 4 corners and it fits perfect now. Not sure why they made it so large in the first place it stuck out farther than the silkscreen outline on the mobo.
