weird stuff happening with my x1950 pro, need help

ok, yesterday i played bf2 and battle for middle earth 2 and as usual, everything running perfectly, as my card eats both these game at my resolution (1280x1024). This morning however, weird stuff's happening. Desktop and browsing, noticed no trouble at all, then i opened battle for middle earth and had nasty flickering across the screen, like it hadn't finished each frame and was kinda doing half a screen at a time, it looked terrible. I thought something might be wrong with the disc, checked and it looked perfect. Swithed my dvd drive and still the same thing happened. Switched to BF2 and it was still happening. So i figured it must be my graphics card, but i haven't changed anything to do with my computer for over a week.

Does anyone know whats going on?
