I have no problem with other usb devices. A new usb sd card reader is not recognized, although I get the "ding-dong" with it is inserted. The indicator light does not go on. A new "Drive L" is shown in My Computer. Any ideas?

If drive L is showing up, then it's recognizing the card reader. So are you saying the problem is with the SD card(s)?
