Dependency service or group failed to start

Hello,
I can't connect to the internet with the laptop that I have with the issue of "dependency service or group failed to start " when I go to connect to the internet! My friends daughter downloaded Cyberdefender and Myidentity control bar which may be the issue but I'm just fishing!!
