Currently designing a system for general use and I'm stuck trying to decide what graphics card will make the system run smoothly. The computer will primarily run a 20-22" LCD but every now and then will switch to a dual monitor set up (sometimes cloned sometimes two seperate displays with windows running on the 20" and media playing on the alternate display). The other monitor is a 40" LCD tv running at 1900x1080 resolution.
There will be absolutely no gaming on this rig and nothing terribly resource intensive besides the occasional dvd playing.
I have absolutely no experience with how intensive this would be so any advice offered would be very appreciated.
(price range is not so much an issue, this is not a gaming rig so going over the top for a 600$ video card to play some really amazing fps solitaire is not the idea)
