I've been running 2GB of Corsair XMS2C4 in Dual channel in my MSI 975X V.2 with a C2D OCed to 3.2 GHz on Vista 64 for 4 months now and all has been WONDERFUL. Newegg posted a deal on some Crucial Ballistix C4 for 70 bucks shipped after rebate and I had to jump on it. I've tried running at 2.1 2.2 and default voltages. When these sticks are in my machine together I get blue screens or windows just locks up when loading. I've tried switching sticks and slots too. The Corsair or the Ballistix by itself runs perfectly OCed or stock. Anyone have any idea why they won't run together?

Also of note I have an Ultra Xfinity 550 PSU and a Geforce 7600 GS

Thanks for any ideas to try :)

Splendid
To make sure it's not just a problem with having all 4 DIMM slots filled, try installing just one DIMM of each type (2 DIMM installed in total) and see if that works.

One of each in dual channel...good idea will try.

Edit: They play real nice together when I'm running only one of each in dual channel.

Ugh. Looks like Ima need a bios flash?
