Quake backups

Hi, can someone tell me which files/folders need to be backed up in both the
origianl Quake and Quake III Arena? In Q3A I want to save my single player
progress and stats. Thanks!

your single player data is in the file: *\Quake III Arena\baseq3\q3config.cfg

these lines are relevant from that file:
