Repairing the control panel in vista

Hello,
in windows vista, when I open up the control panel,classic view,and click on "Recovery Manager", I get an "Application not found" reply. how do I fix this? MIKE

The problem could be a registry error/corruption. In search type in command prompt. In command prompt type in:

sfc /scannow

Hit enter and let the system file checker find an repair any OS system files errors.

Thanks for the response. I tried your recommendation and it didn't fix my problem.To add a further condition of my problem, "Recovery Manager" works from the start menu in the "PC Help and Tools" folder.
