PCI Express 2: Rough Estimate on Release?

I didn't see any info on this through google. I'm trying to sum up for whether or not now is a good time to upgrade. I'd be really pissed if I upgrade my computer this summer and next winter PCI Express 2 comes out and I'm stuck. Does anyone have a rough estimate of when PCI Express 2 will be coming out?

Otherwise I can't stand waiting any longer (have had this rig for 5 years now) and I'm going to upgrade next week.

I'm currently running on this junk:
AMD 2600+
1G RAm
7800 GS that is bottlenecked as hell. (previously 9800 pro)

I believe that at the end of the year AMD will have a pci-e 2 mobo, Id expect Intel to aswell

ddr3 for system's and ddr4 for graphic's will be comming very soon. If you can make do with your current system do so. If money dosent matter just buy and buy some more. Currently I have a 7800 gs and can play all games Played DIRT Demo most setting turned off but turned up res... 1200/1600 and it looked great and played good.
