Could anyone please help me with my Computer problem? Deeply appricated?
Hello i do not normally ask questions on here about my computer problems because i know a fair amount about computers and am taking computer science and university next year but i have a problem.

The Operating system that I am using is Windows Xp and the problem that i have is this. I installed all of my windows updates and then now i have found that when i plug any NEW Usb devices into my computer the drivers are not being installed. i have tried going to into device manager and updating it over the internet but its not working

the two things that i think that it might be is the version of my chipset driver version, or maybe my bios?

What would you kind people suggest to fix it?
