what is the solution to windows xp setup stops responding with 34 minutes remaining. it comes up windows xp installation setup file needed. the file a3d. dll on creative installer cd rom is needed type the path where the file is located and then click ok. but i have no clue what disc this is and my mouse freezes so i cannot do anything. please help

Your Windows disc is either damaged or perhaps dirty. Try cleaning the disc and if it is damaged... then try another CD.
