Can someone tell me how to enable HDR on this card. I've tried Lost Coast and the HDR option remains greyed out!

I know this card can handle HDR and can't see a reason why the HDR box would be greyed out. I've tried putting AA and AF to zero to no avial. Anyone have any ideas?

Btw I'm using a Sapphire X1950Pro (256MB) with Windows XP and the latest 7.6 ATi drivers.

Strange no HDR? sounds like a problem with the game more than the Card itself. You dont need to "enable" HDR on the card itself, it is a feature.

your ATI card can Handle HDR+AA and something like HL2 should run it.. i mean i ran HDR on my 7900GT...

Do you have Oblivion? check out and see if the HDR works or not.

You should also note that HL2/Lost Coast doesn't use Open EXR HDR. Sourse uses it's own form of HDR that any sm2.0 card and up can use.

Ok, I am very confused now. The software directx shows as v9.0, however the hardware directx shows up as v8.1 and is greyed out!

I know this card is DX9 so why is it coming up as DX8.1? :?

Problem solved, I was running the secondary adaptor instead of the primary for some reason. Switched to primary and everything is working now! :)
