Hey,
Is it ok if I ask for some general help here? I didn't see any "support" forum and I don't want to bother anyone, but I don't really know any better place to go.

Anyway, if it's ok...
I'm getting seemingly random shutdowns. No errors, before the shutdown or after starting back up, just a complete, sudden shutdown. The only other things I've noticed is that restarting does not work correctly; the computer shuts down, but never starts itself back up. And, just one time, after starting back up, I was shown a black screen with nothing on it but a prompt to set the time.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like it could be a power supply problem. Try to switch it out with a known good power supply and see if that helps.

hi
I`d look at your voltage levels and make sure they`re sufficient for your ram, cpu, etc.I had similar problems as you`ve stated due to insufficient voltages to my ram
