I have to build a proxy server @ the company I'm working for, never done that before, my HW choice is an EPIA EK10000G, 512MB, 4GB flash drive (USB DVD/RW for installation purposes only). Also I need to decide the distro - options, narrowed down are Ubuntu Server, CentOS or may be OpenBSD. just wanted to know your thoughts about that too... oh, need to be able to manage the box via ssh, vi, etc...
It should serve 'bout 30 wired clients, run Squid, Rejik, Squint, SqStat

Thanx, abs512
