I want to set up a htpc for my sdtv. Its an older pc its got a celeron 1.7ghz and 384mb ram i also have a netgear usb wifi adapter. This pc only has a 4gb hd so i would like to stream the video from my main pc downstairs the video would mostly be mpeg2 and mpeg4. I was wondering how i should set it up it seems most htpc software is for recording tv but all i want to do is display video pictures and music. thanks in advance for any help.
