Wireless N appartment shot... suggestions?

I within 200 feet of my good buddy and we have been considering setting up a network between our places.

In my particular scenario wired is out of the question so my solution is as follows:

Get two wireless N access point to send and receive with omni-direction antennae if necessary.

I plug a router into my side to hand out DHCP and a modem to provide internet. Machines in each household would either be wired to the access points or connected via a wireless N card.

I know wireless N is relatively new but the bandwidth promised should be enough to game and run any other sort of network application.

Is this solution feasible and if so any suggestions on what hardware to use or a more efficient way to set it up?
