hello friends.

Its sad that only problems make me post on this wonderful forum. anyway, i dont really have much time yellin around, so i get straight to the point, and, a question to you could answer you my question.

"Who the hell is WINDOWS to controll my services, for example, DHCP?"

yesss, the 1st one (the only one that i have problems with, but the question goes generally, for all services that exist and microsoft has nothing to do with them, they just implemented it on their OS) is DHCP

some days ago, i started RANDOMLY (blind) playing with the windows services + with some free tools that help you improve security on your OS (port closers, autostuff), unfortunately, just like all we know, Windows choices are full of consequences. I (have no idea what I) touched, and now the DHCP doesnt seem to load at all, but this is not the main problem, this is not a problem at all, i know. so my straight question goes, how do i manage windows in a totally different way, with different tools (something like those wireless card controllers which come with the card)

ps, im am very sure that i opened such a topic before, but i could never comeback again cause my workplace blocked some freq.used websites, so admins/mods, sorry guys, couldn't find it through your search engine.

cheers
