Hey everybody, getting ready to put a new system together this weekend and am concerned about my psu.It is an Ultra x-finity 600w,I bought it after reading several good reviews at large hardware review sites but since then I see numerous bad comments about it.The "main" thing I want out of my new system is to be dependable,it is going to be a general use computer, just light gaming.I am using an Asus M2N4 board & AMD X2 4600 cpu.Any thoughts would be appreciated!

See - http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=34

If all you need is a 450w Power supply then you are set.
It sounds like this is all you need.

If you really need the full 600w, read the article on how to work better.
You are going to need to be real careful what you plug in to which rail, etc...

You may even need to ADD hardware to make it do better.

I always like this site for my PSU reviews since that is what they do.
They do not review CPUs, HDDs, etc.. etc....
They do PSUs.

If it's not reviewed here, I just pick one that has been reviewed here.

That does not mean I take their word alone, as I also try to find other reviews since anyone can miss something in a review.

What zenmaster said! That PS has two 12v rails, make sure the CPU and GPU do not end up sharing the same rail and you should be OK. This is not the PS to use if you are going to SLI or Crossfire. Have fun.
