4Gb using a 64 bit OS

Hello,

Is there any disadvantage to use a 64 bit OS with only 4GB ram?
I would imagine that the addresses for 64 bit are bigger, therefore it would eat up more memory than the address page of a 32 bit OS. Is that the case? If yes, then is a 32 bit OS more recommended than a 64 bit OS for computers with 4GB?

A 32-bit OS might require a bit less memory, but only 3.2 GB will be available. Install a 64 bit OS.
